George Benaur, the founder and owner of the firm, has been selected to New Jersey and New York Super Lawyers® and as AV Rated, Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell in Business Litigation. Mr. Benaur specializes in serving as general counsel for international businesses, and in domestic and international business litigations. He is a recognized trial advocate, speaker and writer. He represents clients worldwide in litigations, general counsel matters and investigations. George has served as lead counsel on many of the significant and complicated civil litigations both domestically and internationally. He regularly handles unique matters calling for the creative, sensitive and artful resolutions and works with a network of trusted counsel around the world, especially in Russia and the United Kingdom to offer global solutions to his clients.

Benaur has extensive experience representing individuals and international corporations in corporate transactions, investments, compliance matters, as well as complex litigations, pre-litigation dispute resolution, investigations, and contract drafting and negotiation, both domestically and internationally. He has had back-to-back successes in a broad range of high-stakes cases.

George was co-counsel in the representation of BAE Systems Controls in a high-profile bankruptcy of A123 Systems Inc. in Delaware, resulting in $28.5 million valuation of the client’s proof of claim, successful negotiation for post-petition product supply and intellectual property rights. He also served as counsel for BAE Systems in a three-year litigation in Los Angeles federal court over a research and development agreement for a new, highly sophisticated positioning device in the drilling industry, resulting in settlement in case involving allegations of over $100 million in damages. George also served as counsel in the $2 billion restructuring of the Brazilian meat producer Independencia and obtained orders for recognition of a Brazilian reorganization proceeding and for permanent injunction enforcing the Brazilian reorganization plan in Chapter 15 proceedings in S.D.N.Y. Bankruptcy Court. George has been lead counsel for Shalva Chigirinskiy, and has also worked with Black Ocean and NTV America in general counsel capacity, among others. Some other clients for whom George has handled complex cases include major pharmaceutical conglomerates, international banks and high-net worth individuals.

George was born and raised in Moscow, Russia (former Soviet Union) and then immigrated to the United States in 1988. He received his B.A. in English from Lafayette College in 1999, professional degree in acting from the London Academy of Music and Drama in 2000, and his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2004. George’s practice is currently principally based in New York, with affiliations and strong working relationships with firms and advisors in Moscow and London.

Jared M. Witt is an experienced corporate and real estate lawyer and businessman.

As legal counsel, he represents and advised clients on a myriad of matters ranging from general corporate law issues, including starting, organizing and funding businesses; to M&A transactions, including the purchase and sale of assets, stock and businesses; to day-to-day business matters, including operational issues, contracts, licensing, and general employment issues; to strategic business advice. His clients include multi-national corporations, entrepreneurs, start-ups and early stage companies, local business people and non-profits. Jared's legal background includes positions in large and small New York City and Princeton-based law firms and as in-house General Counsel.

Jared also has extensive business experience as a principal, including involvement in real estate ownership and development, finance and restaurant interests.

Based in the Princeton, New Jersey area, Mr. Witt has served as an elected official, public defender, and on other local governmental committees and non-profit Boards.

Jared M. Witt received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and the Federal District of New Jersey, New York and the Southern District of New York, and the State of Colorado (inactive).

Beka Injia currently holds the position of the Secretary General of the Georgian International Arbitration Centre. In parallel he is engaged in private legal practice. For more than 6 years he was the legal director in Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Injia has previously worked both in public and in private sector. His professional experience includes positions at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where he was advisor in a division of State Representation in Arbitration and foreign Courts. He also worked in ministry of Finances. For number of year he was the General legal counsel of one of the largest Real Estate Development Company in Georgia. He has served as arbitrator in a several constriction disputes.

Mr. Injia has been the member of various working groups and committees created with the aim of reforming the existing Georgian Legislation in the field of Arbitration. In particular, he was the member of the working committee created by the Ministry of Justice that prepared the draft of the amendments to the Arbitration Law of Georgia. Mr. Injia was one of the person’s behind the idea of the formation of an international arbitration institution in Georgia. He was leading the working group on Formation of International Arbitration Institution at the Georgian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He was the member of the International Commission for Final Revision of the GIAC Arbitration Rules. He was a member of several sectoral dispute boards, namely: tax disputes council and state procurement dispute board.

He is also member of Georgian bar Association, Georgian Arbitrators Association, Georgian Law firms Association; Mr. Injia holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law from Tbilisi State University, as well as an LL.M in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) from a joint program of the Geneva University Law School and the Graduate Institute of international and Development Studies, in Geneva, Switzerland, also The Hague Academy of International Law.
Mr Injia frequently participates in a number of international and local workshops, conferences as a speaker. He is an invited lecturer at several Universities in Georgia.

Robert A. Gross, a New York native and resident, is a United States Marine Corps veteran who started his career in law working as a New York City police officer in the NYPD’s Community Policing and Intelligence Units. He went on to receive his undergraduate degree in English Literature from the State University of New York.  Robert Gross then attended the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate.

During law school, Robert Gross served as a law clerk for the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York. In addition, he interned at both the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. This experience provided Robert Gross with a solid foundation in his courtroom skills and case formulation.

After completing law school, Robert Gross further honed his legal skills in his work at as a Prosecutor at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. During the four years he prosecuted cases in the Miami-Dade District, he tried more than 40 jury trials. In addition, he handled more than 1,000 adult and juvenile misdemeanor and felony cases including DWI, Insurance and Medicare Fraud, Organized Crime, White Collar Crimes, Domestic Violence, Cyber Crimes, Sex Crimes, and more.

Robert Gross served as the lead prosecuting attorney in the highly sensationalized “Orange Man” case in Miami. This capital punishment case involved an individual charged with numerous violent felonies committed during a significant period of time. Robert Gross successfully navigated this widely publicized case with the press while he achieved the directive of the Attorney General. He is a skilled prosecutor and brings this experience to criminal defense.

Robert Gross left the State Attorney’s Office after Investigative Group International, a Washington, DC firm, named him as Senior Case Manager. In this position, he provided support for both civil and criminal cases involving corporations and high net worth clients. In addition, he handled internal corporate and complex white collar investigations. Robert Gross also acted as an Administrative Law Judge with the Taxi and Limousine Commission.

Filipp Sviridenko currently holds a position of a board member in L2B Management law company. He was previously employed by one of the major banks in Latvia with more than 10 years of experience in legal affairs in a position of deputy head of legal department.
Mr. Filipp Sviridenko graduated from Concordia International University Estonia with Bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence followed by LLM degree from Riga Graduate School of Law in International and European Law.
Filipp practices in international tax law and Latvian tax law dealing mostly with cross border business. He is also well experienced in corporate structuring of businesses, legal consulting in corporate and commercial law, M&A’s, structuring of investor relations.

With almost forty years of experience as a trial attorney, Robert Hantman is the founding partner of the Firm. Mr. Hantman specializes in civil-commercial – including FINRA and SEC matters – and selective criminal litigation. He has served as counsel to both public and private companies and was outside counsel to the Colombian Consulate for over 14 years.

On a selective basis he has also been involved in matrimonial, defamation, negligence and probate litigation, and Hague Convention Cases involving complex and diverse issues and works in crisis management situations with public relation firms, lobbyists, and former specials agents of the FBI, DEA and CIA along with former NAVY SEALs, Special Forces and Delta team members when necessary.

Well versed in intellectual property, corporate law, entertainment, fashion law and contract law, Roberts’s years of litigation experience and hands – on experience make him an invaluable asset in litigation or as an advisor.

Ben A. Rozenshteyn was born in Tallinn, Estonia and spent his teens in Moscow, Russia. Ben immigrated to the United States and received his B.A. in Economics and an A.A in Theology from Yeshiva University’s Jay and Jeannie Schottenstein Honors Program in 2016.

Ben is in his 3L year at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he holds the position of Editor at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition Honor Society, a top ranked dispute resolution team nationwide. In 2018, Ben was among the four students selected to represent Cardozo Law in the prestigious 26th Willem C. Vis Moot in International Commercial Arbitration held in Vienna, Austria.

During his 2L summer, Ben interned at “Klishin and Partners” in Moscow, Russia, where he immersed in Russian civil/criminal/arbitral jurisprudence and led seminars on legal practice in common law jurisdictions. Ben co-authored an article on the U.S. approach to jurisdiction, published in Russia’s “Legal World” journal in September, 2018.

Ben is interested in international law and expects to sit for the Bar Exam in 2020.
